Max has 13 cousins on the Baker side! Here are a few pictures of the poolside fun with all the little swimmers.
Max shows off some of his tricks he learned in Texas.
And loves the pool toss.
Here he is with cousins Liam and Caleb.

Max went on his first boating trip on his Grandma and Grandpa Baker's boat.
Although he looks pretty happy here he was not so excited about his huge life vest....
Then he learned how to drive the boat.

After all that he was beat and fell asleep for the rest of the ride=)

Max has fun with his cousins before bed.
A trip to Balboa Park to visit the Museums.
Max and Dad have a heart to heart.

Fun in the fountain.

Sienna and Stephen masterfully perform an exquisite water ballet...
...while Baker cousins in the box seat watch with rapt attention...
...meanwhile, Max sinks his gums into other matters at hand, er, foot.

Last weekend My Uncle Jay got married in Pasadena. So Max got to attend his second wedding=)
It was great to see my mom and Kaylie and Max enjoyed his grandma's necklace.
The wedding was at my Uncle Jay and Aunt Cecil's house.
Max works on standing...yes it is a little crazy how well he can stand at 5 1/2 months!!!

Last week we left Texas and headed to Estes Park Colorado for a Niemack family reunion. We celebrated my grandpa Carl's 89th birthday and had fun introducing Max to a few of his relatives. I know this may seem like a lot of people, but with both Jay's and my families Max's relatives may number in the hundreds.

Uncle Tyler and Uncle Scott get acquainted with Max.
Michael and Maren introduce their beautiful daughter Linnea to the Niemack clan.
Max is ready to play with his new cousin=)
Max and his great-grandfather Carl (Max's middle name sake on my side of the family, he is also named after his great-grandfather Carl on Jay's side.)

Elisa, my friend Cara and I decided to take Max for a hike in the Rocky National Park.
Max looking angelic in his carrier, before....
He decided that he was totally unhappy traveling that way.

Max has gotten very good at sitting up by himself so I decided to take of few shots of him on his own.
He checked everything out...
decided that things are pretty good outdoors...
Then all of the sudden was having the time of his life!

My aunt Judy and uncle Jeanfrancois are Jazz musicians, so they along with my dad had a little concert for Max.
He was mesmerised by the music and was very intent on figuring out how it all worked.
And of course enjoyed watching his Gramby!

Yesterday I took Max to the San Antonio Zoo. It was hard to tell sometimes if he could even see the animals.....
but he definitely liked the flamingos.

My classmate, Vince Myers, and I invented a new pool game: The Wet Max Toss.
It's so much fun we are trying to figure out how to package and market it. Any interested distributors out there?

This weekend we went to the Texas Hill Country and stayed in a town called Fredricksburg. It was nice to see such a beautiful part of Texas.
Max got to go to his first Biker Saloon!
We visited LBJ National Park and saw how a farming family lived at the turn of the century. Behind this barn there was a 500 lb pig but I couldn't get a good shot of him.
This is the cute little cottage where we stayed for the night.
