Here is the proof. Grandma Baker arrived safely in Seoul and is now gainfully employed again. After maybe 16 hours of unemployment, seeing that she lives with Katie's two 1-year old twins. Now quit yer slackin!!!

The weather this weekend was pleasant as watching birds at a feeder so we took a walk down on the "Old Han River" (sung in a low bass to the tune of, well, you know). Max was so excited he fell right asleep.

It was a little hard for me to frame these shots while holding Max, but I just love the post nursing comatose.....hard work apparently:)

Max momentarily enjoys his play mat.
Since this is a family blog, Jay discreetly covers Max's privates while he is photographed for his fans. This was his first real bath after his umbilical cord fell off and he really enjoyed it:) Well he enjoyed everything except when I accidentally turned on the shower and not the bath and he got sprayed in the face....he was quite upset about that. Ooops.
Max is beat after yet another morning spent trying to get all the paperwork in order and photos taken for his passport. Taking a picture of a 2 week old with their eyes open while propping up their head in a way that you can't see your hands or his......not easy. It took a few trips to the photographer's studio on base before we actually got one that was usable. It is kind of funny that the photo matters at all since in a few months Max will look pretty different, much less 5 years from now when it expires. Happily we now finally have all the paperwork is turned in!!!

Max has officially taken over this blog.

He's stabilized his weight loss and will probably be coming up at the next doctor's visit. He's getting the hang of how to eat successfully. And he's awake more than ever. He's a pretty good baby and loves to fall asleep on dad or mom's chest at any time of day or night.

Max and I chat it up.
Max takes a rest after his first sponge bath. He loved having his hair washed. The rest of the experience he could have done without.

Our Spring Baby:) Today Max is one week young. These are all the flowers that people brought to our hospital room when Max was born, except our lovely new orchid got cut out since it is so tall. If Max's legs look funny it is because he has them all scrunched up in his outfit.....kind of like a frog's legs. He is a very good baby and we are enjoying him immensely.

Thank you everyone for all of your well wishing e-mails and comments!!!
